Kaweco is one of the oldest brands on the German market, being first established in 1883 as a dip pen factory in Heidelberg, Germany. For more than 125 years Kaweco pens have been an integral part of High-Class assortments, they’re parent company. Kaweco insistently focuses on the thin line between tradition and innovation and therewith since 1883 secures the favor of those who would like to impress their values and esteems on paper.
Originally started as a bookbinding facility in 1938, Japanese papermaker ITO Bindery is known for their exquisite Japanese paper goods.
Masaki Ito, grandson of the company’s founder, used their master-craft binding techniques as well as their rich history and background to produce high-quality, precisely hand-cut and bound drawing pads and memo blocks.
With precision-cut edges and a satin smooth surface, these drawing pads bring a clean, architectural presence to any desktop. Each block is mounted to a recycled cardboard base that provides stability and subtly contrasts with the paper creating an eye-pleasing stationery.
