LuminaireX will host the Wynwood RAW Project for an exhibition of the artist’s custom-made pieces which will be on display at LuminaireX. During the event, guests will be able to interact with the Wynwood graffiti artists, understand their techniques and inspiration through the artistic expression of each piece and be delighted by a surprising artistic experience.

In this exhibition, a selection of designer pieces has been donated by Luminaire and Carl Hansen and Sons to support the vital connection between art and education. The selected RAW graffiti artists will take the pieces as their canvas and present an exciting one-of-a-kind collection at LuminaireX. These pieces will be on sale and all the funds will be donated to support the Arts program.

The RAW Project began in 2014 and brought together a coalition of nonprofits, organizations, and local artists to bring color and inspiration on Wynwood’s Jose De Diego middle school’s concrete walls in a school that was suffering a drought in creativity. Over 80 artists came together and results were magnificent enough to increase school enrollment. The project has gained the appreciation and respect of the Miami community.
